The Nigerian payment industry is witnessing a significant transformation as pan-African financial services group, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc in conjunction with Unified Payment Systems Limited has introduced “Pay Attitude”, a faster and seamless, contactless payment solution that never fails. 

Pay Attitude is a Near Field Communication (NFC) tag, with an internal chip, which works on NFC-enabled POS terminals at designated partner locations across Nigeria. The new payment solution makes it possible for a customer to make payments for goods and services with an adhesive payment tag attachable to mobile phones or flat surfaces. “It is as easy as tapping the phone against a PoS terminal. Highly convenient for retail transactions, it perfectly suits the lifestyle of mobile phone users.
